PRIVACY POLICY (Updated for 2026)

Effective Date: January 21, 2026
Owner & Operator: Good-Man LLC (“Good-Man,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
Primary Contact: Robert@FiveYearLife.com

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose information when you visit FiveYearLife.com, download materials, join our Advanced Reader Community (“ARC”), purchase products, submit forms, or interact with any part of The Five Year Life™ ecosystem (collectively, the “Site”).

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

1. IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES (PLAIN ENGLISH)

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not rent your personal information.
  • We do not share your personal information with data brokers.
  • We do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (in plain English: we do not give your personal information to third parties so they can target ads to you across other websites).
  • We do share limited information with trusted service providers (for example: email delivery, forms, analytics, payment processing, hosting, security) solely to run the Site and deliver what you request.
  • We may use de-identified / aggregated information freely (for example: “this page had 8,000 visits this month”). This does not identify you personally.
  • No website can guarantee perfect security. We use reasonable safeguards, but you use the internet at your own risk.

2. DEFINITIONS

“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with you (for example: your name or email address).

“De-Identified / Aggregated Information” means information that does not identify you personally (for example: total page views, general location at the city/state level, broad usage patterns). De-identified or aggregated information is not Personal Information.

“ARC Materials” means pre-release drafts, PDFs, downloads, and any content shared with ARC participants prior to publication.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

(a) Information You Voluntarily Provide

You may provide information to us when you fill out forms, request downloads, join ARC, submit feedback, buy products, or contact us.

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Form submissions and messages
  • ARC feedback, notes, and responses
  • Survey responses (if any)
  • Purchase confirmations and basic transaction details (note: payment details are handled by processors)
  • Any other information you choose to include in your message

Please do not submit sensitive information through the Site (for example: medical records, detailed mental health history, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive data). If you voluntarily include it, you do so at your own discretion and risk.

(b) Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, we collect certain information automatically when you browse the Site. This may include:

  • IP address
  • Device type, browser type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent
  • Referring/exit pages
  • General location signals (for example: city/state level)
  • Log files and diagnostic data used for security and performance

We use this information to operate the Site, improve performance, understand what readers need, detect abuse, and keep the platform stable and secure.

(c) Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies (including pixels or analytics tags) to:

  • Remember preferences (where applicable)
  • Measure traffic and page performance
  • Improve the ARC workflow and delivery process
  • Track basic conversions (for example: whether a download link was clicked)
  • Protect the Site from abuse, fraud, or malicious traffic

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some Site functions may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

(d) Purchases and Payment Processing

If the Site offers purchases, payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details. We may receive limited information such as purchase confirmation, product purchased, amount paid, and transaction ID for accounting, fulfillment, and customer support.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We may use Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To provide what you requested (downloads, ARC access, updates, confirmations)
  • To communicate with you (respond to messages, deliver materials, send important service notices)
  • To run ARC (send drafts, receive feedback, incorporate improvements, manage participation)
  • To improve the Site and books (understand usage, refine content, reduce friction)
  • To maintain security and prevent abuse (spam prevention, fraud detection, misuse prevention)
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests)
  • To protect our rights and property (including investigating leaks, infringement, or Terms violations)
  • To market and announce releases (book launches, updates, improvements) where permitted by law and with opt-out options

We may also create and use De-Identified / Aggregated Information for any lawful purpose, including analytics, performance reporting, planning, and sponsor discussions. This does not identify you personally.

5. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We do not sell your Personal Information. However, we may disclose Personal Information in the following circumstances:

(a) Service Providers (Running the Site)

We may share information with trusted vendors who help us operate the Site (for example: website hosting, form tools, email delivery platforms, analytics providers, payment processors, and security providers). They may access information only to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.

(b) Legal Compliance and Protection

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Good-Man LLC, readers, ARC participants, or others
  • Investigate fraud, security incidents, misuse, leaks of confidential materials, or Terms violations
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements

(c) Business Transfers

If Good-Man LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, asset sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We reserve the right to transfer information as a business asset, subject to applicable law.

(d) With Your Consent or Direction

We may share information if you explicitly ask us to, or if you consent at the point of collection.

(e) Sponsors and Partners (Aggregate Only)

If we work with sponsors or partners, we may share De-Identified / Aggregated Information (for example: page traffic, general readership trends, non-identifying usage patterns). We do not share your Personal Information with sponsors as a standard practice.

6. ARC CONFIDENTIALITY AND FEEDBACK HANDLING

ARC participants receive early, unpublished, confidential material. ARC Materials are confidential and must not be forwarded, reposted, uploaded, distributed, quoted publicly, or shared in screenshots without explicit written permission.

ARC enforcement and leak protection: To protect authorship, readers, and the integrity of early drafts, we reserve the right (now or in the future) to use reasonable technical measures to deter leaks and identify the source of unauthorized sharing. These measures may include unique download links, individualized identifiers, embedded markers, watermarks, invisible identifiers, version tracking, or similar controls. We do not guarantee any specific technology will be used, but you agree that we may implement reasonable protective measures at any time.

If we reasonably believe ARC Materials have been leaked or misused, we may, without notice:

  • Terminate ARC access
  • Restrict downloads
  • Invalidate links
  • Document evidence of misuse
  • Pursue available remedies under our Terms, applicable law, and equity

ARC feedback is voluntary. If you submit feedback, you understand that:

  • Your feedback may be incorporated into the books and future editions
  • Your feedback may be quoted anonymously by default
  • If you want attribution (or want to be thanked by name), you must explicitly request it

7. EMAIL, UPDATES, AND OPT-OUT

If you join a list, request a download, join ARC, or purchase materials, we may send you emails related to what you requested (for example: confirmations, access links, updates, and important notices).

We may also send book updates and launch notices when permitted by law. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting Robert@FiveYearLife.com. Some essential service emails may still be sent (for example: access delivery, confirmations, or security notices).

We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Site and requested services
  • Maintain business records and bookkeeping
  • Enforce agreements and protect our rights
  • Resolve disputes
  • Comply with legal obligations

We may retain De-Identified / Aggregated Information indefinitely.

9. SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. This may include SSL encryption, restricted access, and reputable hosting/security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. By using the Site, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

10. INTERNATIONAL USERS AND TRANSFERS

If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have data protection laws different from your country.

11. YOUR RIGHTS AND REQUESTS (WITH VERIFICATION AND LIMITS)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about how we process Personal Information.

To protect readers and the Site, we may require identity verification before acting on a request. We may deny requests where permitted by law, including where the request is unreasonably repetitive, impractical, risks the privacy of others, compromises security, or conflicts with legal obligations.

To make a request, email Robert@FiveYearLife.com with the subject line: Privacy Request.

This section applies only to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) applies.

(a) Notice of “No Sale” and “No Share”
We do not sell your Personal Information. We also do not “share” your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising (meaning we do not provide your Personal Information to third parties so they can target advertising to you on other websites or services).

Your Last Paycheck™

Navigating Job Loss and Layoffs in the Age of AI

Job loss is never just a financial event. It’s an identity shock, a loss of stability, and a rupture in how you understand your own value. And in today’s economy, finding stable work often takes far longer than people expect — especially as AI continues to reshape entire professions.

Your Last Paycheck™ was written to prevent panic-driven decisions during one of the most vulnerable periods of a person’s life.

The first half of the book provides a calm, step-by-step stabilization plan for the critical early weeks: what to secure, what to protect, how to preserve both finances and emotional footing.

The second half offers a realistic blueprint for navigating the AI-driven job market — including how to assess which roles are expanding, which are quietly disappearing, and how to reposition yourself without chasing false promises.

Reset Protocol™

A Structured Method for Resetting Your Life in Five Focused Years

There comes a point in nearly every life when the internal alignment that once held everything together begins to fracture. You feel it before you can explain it — a heaviness, a resistance, a sense that you are living slightly out of phase with yourself.

Reset Protocol™ exists for that moment. It guides you through 108 carefully sequenced questions designed to reveal patterns you’ve lived with for years, surface truths you may have been avoiding, and help you see your life with clarity rather than judgment.

You’ll also learn the Five-Year Lens™ — a future-focused way to evaluate decisions based on who you are becoming, not just what you’re trying to escape.

Reset Protocol™ is not about blowing up your life; it’s about realignment — done deliberately, honestly, and with realistic compassion.

Reset Protocol – The Workbook™

The Companion Workbook to Accelerate Your Personal Reset Protocol

Some people love reading a framework. Other people need a place to apply it immediately — to write, answer, reflect, and turn insight into action.

The Reset Protocol Workbook™ is designed to make the process easier, more structured, and more personal. It follows the same insightful and pivotal 108 questions, but creates guided space for your own words, your own decisions, and your own next steps.
